In the beginning, there was only one Realm, the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God encompassed the Kingdom of Heaven. The Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven were ONE. One Unified Creation: Singularity. However, there was a need to separate and divide the Kingdom for strategic purposes, and the strategies of Elohim (God). From this arises the question, what, then, is the Kingdom of Heaven?
As we ponder this question. The Holy Spirit of God will lead us to the Scripture for insight into this matter. It may be perceived that the first humans, the man and the woman, could have been considered in some form or aspect of heaven before they sinned. From the act of sinning developed a causation that removed them from the presence of, or access to, fellowship with God. The beginning of the separation arose when the serpent introduced a proposition to the Woman. In which she accepted. Subsequently, she and the man were lured, enticed, and deceived into disobeying God. The proposition concerned eating fruit from the forbidden tree.
The narrative states that “when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate” (Genesis 3:6, NKJV). Notice, three things tempted the woman to accept the offer. Moving forward, after Jesus is in the wilderness for the appointed time. He is presented with three temptations from Satan (Matthew 4:1-11, NKJV). Jesus is faithful and resisted the temptations from Satan. Jesus is successful through faithfulness, whereas they failed because of their unfaithfulness to God. Through the demonstration of His faithfulness, Jesus earns the right to reconcile the severed/divided Kingdom back to God. His faith was the power of His success. After which, Jesus begins his ministry. The narrative stated that “Jesus began to preach and to say, Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17, NKJV).
As we consider the assignment of the Savior. We must seek to understand what the Kingdom of Heaven is. We know that the Kingdom of God was not physically divided into two parts. If this is the case? Then, what can we imagine, surmise, the Kingdom of Heaven to be? Please send me your answer, or thoughts, and submit below.
